Red Day Lilly – Raspberry Suede Daylilly Hemerocallis
Day lilies are a great addition to any garden.
Here’s my first attempt at a more exotic day lily. This is a raspberry suede day lily. 
They have a interesting rich color. And they kinda have a suede feel to them (ergo the name). This one plant gave me a dozen blooms or so. Honestly, I was so excited that I bought another 30 day lily fans or so. All different colors.
With all transplants, I use Biota Max.
Other than that, I simple dug done a few inches, added some better soil and water the daylilies in. That was it.
I’ll continue to report on my garden as the season, and years progress.
